OH. MY. GOD. I just blew my own mind. For those of you who don't watch How To Get Away With Murder, first of all, you're insane. I made the mistake of not watching a Shonda Rhimes show once (Scandal... I know. I'm sad about it, too) and I want to keep you from doing the same. If you start now, there will only be one season to catch up on! Come on!
Anyway, the point of this post is that while watching a GIF of Gilmore Girls' Rory and Paris (a.k.a. the weirdest friendship ever) I thought to myself, hey now. That Paris Geller sure looks a lot like Bonnie Winterbottom from HTGAWM!
And then it all happened. A quick IMDB search told me that indeed, both characters were played by Liza Weil. I can't even believe it took me the whole season of HTGAWM to realize it. Take a look for yourself.

As Taylor Swift sings in "Out of the Woods," "Looking at it now, it all seems so simple." How could I not recognize that closed-mouth smile! And now that I think about it, how could I not recognize her voice?!
According to IMDB, Weir "initially auditioned for the role of Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls ... The character of Paris Geller was written for Liza, because she was wanted in the show." Also, she had to dye her hair blonde for the role! She's originally a brunette. I guess it just stuck. Either way, two great roles played by what I now consider a great actress.
