I know I'm a little bit behind on this story, however I spent the weekend in beautiful San Diego visiting my friend from college! What a place to live. Definitely No. 1 on my list of retirement cities/cities to raise a family. But anyway, back to the news!

Many speculate that it was cohost Giuliana Rancic's supposedly racist comments made about young starlet Zendaya that fueled the host's leaving. I think she was tired of criticizing people's bods on live TV. But whatever the case, she's gone. And just two weeks after co-host Kelly Osborne also left the show.

Producers "actually said, 'If you want, you can clean house,' " Griffin told Howard Stern on Monday.
"I wasn't looking to put anybody out of work at all," Griffin insisted during a candid interview with the Sirius XM host.
While Joan was known for her ultra-cruel humor on the show, people expected it of her. It was almost like, if Joan didn't make a joke that made people gasp (or a joke with Lindsay Lohan as the subject), it wasn't a successful episode. After her passing, the show tried to find a host that was equally crude, while still be accepted as a comedian--in Griffin's words, "a woman being brash and eccentric on television." But when they did find one, she didn't like it. And I think that even in celeb world, people should be able to freely quit a job they don't like. Heck, I quit my job at Michael's Arts & Crafts after 2 months because I couldn't stand finding a spot for one more pack of basketball themed scrapbook stickers amongst the billions of other packs of scrapbook stickers.
So bravo, Kathy! I am in support of your latest decision. And I hope you can find a job that makes you happy.
